Florence Mouton Guidry
August 18, 1930 — February 19, 2008
February 21, 2008 at a 10:00 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial in
St. Alphonsus Catholic Church honoring the life of Florence
Mouton Guidry, 77, who died February 19, 2008 at Lafayette
General Medical Center.
She will be laid to rest at St. Alphonsus Cemetery with
Reverend Joseph Breaux officiating the services.
Pallbearers will be Glen Mouton, Ed Dipaolantino, Russell Sellers,
Bobby Mouton, Mark Mouton
and John Knott.
The family wishes to thank
the staff of Lafayette General
Medical Center for providing
such good care. Also a special
thanks to the Maurice Fire
Department for all their help.
She is survived by her
husband, John E. Guidry of
Maurice; one son, David K.
Guidry and his wife Chris of
Maurice; one daughter, Vicky
Belaire and her husband Elliot of
Milton; three grandchildren, Tara
Knott of Lafayette, Ericka Guidry
of Maurice and Derek Guidry of
Maurice; two great grandsons,
Drew Knott and Jake Knott both
of Lafayette; and one sister, Mrs.
Rene LeBlanc (Ella) of Franklin.
She was preceded in death
by her parents, Pierre Av~ry
Mouton and the former Laurance Armentor; seven brothers and
two sister.
The family requests that
visiting hours be observed at
Vincent Funeral Home, 209
South St. Charles, Abbeville,
Wednesday, February 20th from 1 :00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. with a
rosary to be prayed at 7:00 p.m.;
Thursday, February 21st from
8:00 am until 9:30 a.m. when the
procession will depart for the
church.
