Abbeville—Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, February 9, 2013 at Mt. Triumph Baptist Church, 310 S. Lamar St. in Abbeville, honoring the life of Lilly May Levine Harrison, 76, who died Saturday, February 2, 2013 at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital.
She will be laid to rest at Rose Hill Cemetery with Rev. Raymond Captville officiating the services. Pallbearers will be Alexander Ursin, Carvell Levine, Douglas Green, II, Jason Mitchell, Earn Ursin, Jr., Wallace Guidry, Sr., Wallace Guidry, Jr. and Terrence Ursin.
Lilly was the head cook at Henry High School for 26 years.
She is survived by her four brothers, Worris Levine, Sr. (Shirley), Norman Levine, Sr. (Maxine), Enrick Levine, Sr. (Martha), and Earvin Levine; two sisters, Lou Ella Collins and Linda Thibeaux (Claude); and a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, great great nieces, great great nephews, relatives, God children and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Harrison; parents, Langdon Levine, Jr. and the former Nolia Petry; three brothers, Floyd Levine, Warren Levine, Sr., and Ellis Levine; and two sisters, Esther Levine and Daisy Ursin.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville, 209 S. St. Charles Street, on Saturday, February 9, 2013 from 8:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. when the procession will depart for the church.
