Yvonne Dartez Primeaux

September 10, 1951 — February 5, 2013

Kaplan—Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, February 8, 2013 at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan honoring the life of Yvonne Dartez Primeaux, 61, who died Tuesday, February 5, 2013 at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital. She will be laid to rest at Breaux Cemetery with Deacon David Vaughn officiating the services.

She is survived by her fiance, Ricky Abshire of Erath; two sons, Brian Primeaux of Erath and Johnathon Dartez and his wife, Michell of Erath; four daughters, Shanon Primeaux of Erath, Desiree Dartez of Abbeville, Amy Finney of Erath, and Crystal Finney of Erath; one sister, Shirley Dartez Hebert of Kaplan; one brother, Rene Dartez of Erath; and eight grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by parents, Murphy "Shub" Dartez and the former Emily Matthews; one sister, Doris Whitmore; one brother, Bradley Dartez; and nephew, Andy Whitmore.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Avenue, on Thursday, February 7, 2013 from 11 a.m. until 10 p.m. with a rosary to be prayed at 7 p.m.; Friday, February 5, 2013 from 8 a.m. until services.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family in memory of Yvonne.
