Paulette Broussard East

December 30, 1956 — February 11, 2013

Abbeville—Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. Saturday, February 16, 2013 at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville honoring the life of Paulette Broussard East, 56, who died Monday, February 11, 2013.

Pastor David Rousse will officiate the service.

She is survived by her husband, Haywood A. East "Tony"; former husband, Harold Buford; four sons, Quentin A. Buford, Cody J. Buford, Stephen J. Buford and Jaime L. Buford; daughter, Kristi B. Cormier; brother, John (Rickie) Doucet; sister, Tina D. Pommier; thirteen grandchildren; and one great grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph L. Broussard and the former Viola Ann Romero; brother, Craig J. Doucet; maternal grandparents, Easton Romero and the former Erna Dartez; and paternal grandparents, Eraste Broussard and the former Beulah Picard.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville, 209 S. St. Charles Street, on Friday, February 15, 2013 from 8:00 a.m. until 10:00 p.m. with a rosary to be prayed at 7:00 p.m.; Saturday, February 16, 2013 from 8:00 a.m. until time of service.

We the family would like to give a special thanks to her godchild, Valerie Sonnier and her caretakers for opening their heart to Paulette in her time of need.
