Carl B. Leger

August 25, 1936 — February 14, 2013

Kaplan—Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 16, 2013 at a 1 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church honoring the life of Carl Barry Leger, 76, who died Thursday, February 14, 2013 at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital. Reverend William C. Blanda will officiate at the Mass.

He will be laid to rest at Kaplan Cemetery with Deacon Paul Roy Eleazar officiating the services.

He is survived by his companion, Beth Henry of Gonzales; three sons, Steven Leger of Lafayette, Kenny Leger and his wife, Shannon of Kaplan, and Jonathan Leger of Sterlington; two daughters, Carla Boudreaux and her husband, Duane of Scott and Danielle Stelly and her husband, Toby of Kaplan; and five grandchildren, Lauren Boudreaux, Michelle Boudreaux, Nick Boudreaux, Shelbee Leger, and Karlee Leger.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Elaine Zaunbrecher Leger; one son, Alan Leger; his parents, Floyd Leger and the former Elda Rozas; and his brother, Fred Leger.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Avenue, on Saturday, February 16, 2013 from 8:30 a.m. until the procession departs for the church. A rosary will be prayed at 11 a.m.
