George James "Jimmie" Klein

Abbeville—Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 27, 2013 at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville honoring the life of George James Klein, 86, who died Monday, February 25, 2013 at his residence.

He will be laid to rest at Bancker Cemetery with Reverend Kenneth Mayne officiating the services.

He is survived by his wife, Eugenia D. Klein; three sons, John Klein and his wife, Rhonda of Iota, Stephen Klein and friend, Blaire of Lafayette, and Scotty Klein and his wife, Jerry of TX; two daughters, Jackie Coston and her husband, Andrew of Texas City, and Rhonda Benson and her husband, Barry of Texas City; stepson, Ferris Frederick and his wife, Lucille of Erath; stepdaughter, Velva Frederick of Abbeville; four brothers, Francis Klein, Wilber Klein, Bob Klein and Donnie Klein; four sisters, Dot Broussard, Shirley Broussard, Betty LaPointe and Elaine Lounsberry; twenty-six grandchildren; fifty-one great grandchildren; and three great great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, George A. Klein and the former Lenia Bertrand; daughter, Susan Earls; sister, Henrietta Klein; and two grandchildren, Corey Frederick and Rachel Earls.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville, 209 S. St. Charles Street, on Wednesday, February 27, 2013 from 8:30 a.m. until time of services with a rosary to be prayed at 10:00 a.m.
