Kaplan—Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, March 4, 2013 at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan honoring the life of Elvine Gaspard Schexnider, 89, who died Saturday, March 2, 2013 at Kaplan Healthcare Center. She will be laid to rest at Kaplan Cemetery with Deacon David Vaughn officiating the services.

She is survived by her two stepchildren, Isabelle Schexnider and Floyd Lee Schexnider of Texas; her sister, Lovina G. Lege of Kaplan; and her brother, Howard Gaspard of Kaplan.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Sare "T-coon" Schexnider; and her brother, Whitney Gaspard.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Avenue, on Sunday, March 3, 2013 from 3 p.m. until 9 p.m. with a rosary being prayed at 7 p.m.; Monday, March 4, from 8 a.m. until services.
