Eunice Bourque Broussard

March 18, 1936 — March 8, 2013

Abbeville—Funeral services will be held Tuesday, March 12, 2013 at a 11:00 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Alphonsus Roman Catholic Church honoring the life of Eunice Bourque Broussard, 76, who died Friday, March 8, 2013 at Eastridge Nursing Center.

She will be laid to rest at Mire Cemetery with Reverend Joseph Breaux officiating the services. Pallbearers will be Bradley Peltier, Jean Chris Peltier, Mark Broussard, Micheal Taylor, Jr., Preston Thiboudeaux and Lursie Bourque. Honorary pallbearers will be Jeremy Peltier, Christopher Peltier, Eddie Mire, Travis Broussard and Beau Cormier.

She is survived by her children, Janice P. Taylor, Bradley P. Peltier (Tina), Chris Peltier (Paulette), Mark Anthony Broussard (Janet) and Sarah P. Mire (Eddie); sister, Joyce Trahan (Martin); 17 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren and her special dog Suki.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Isadore Bourque and the former Anna Boudion; twin infant daughters; grandson, Benji Cormier; sisters, Rose Guillot, Rose Thibodeaux and Nella Schexnayder; and brother, Joseph Bourque.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville, 209 S. St. Charles Street, on Monday, March 11, 2013 from 10:00 a.m. until 10:00 p.m. with a rosary to be prayed at 7:00 p.m.; Tuesday, March 12, 2013 from 8:00 a.m. until time of services.
