Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, March 10, 2008 at St. Theresa Catholic Church honoring the life of Ella Mae Becker, 77, of Abbeville, who died Friday, March 7th, at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Lafayette. She will be laid to rest in St. Paul Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jason Castro, Corey Boutte, Bradley Duhon, Rickey Becker, Arvey Choate and Michael Frederick. She is survived by two sons, Larry Becker and wife Susan, Jimmy Becker and wife Charlotte; three daughters, Julia “Ann” Duhon and husband VJ, Gloria Faye Becker and Joyce Toups and husband Johnny all of Abbeville; one sister, Lula Mae Delahoussaye and husband Johnny of Mississippi; companion, John Kilmer of Abbeville; 11 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Nolan Becker; father, Wilton Hebert; mother Ella Romero Hebert; son, Joseph Nolan Becker Jr. “Butch”; grandson, Ronald “Bubba” Gary Jr.; and great granddaughter, Emma Claire Boutte. The family request that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home 209 South St. Charles Abbeville, Sunday March 9th from 10:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. with a rosary to be prayed at 7:00 p.m. and Monday March 10th from 8:00 a.m. until time of services.
