Joseph "Jay" Leblanc

October 1, 1930 — March 15, 2013

Kaplan—Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, March 18, 2013 at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan honoring the life of Joseph “Jay” LeBlanc, 82, who died Friday, March 15, 2013 at his residence. He will be laid to rest at Kaplan Cemetery with Deacon David Vaughn officiating the services.

He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Gloria L. LeBlanc of Marrero; one son, Joey and his wife Paula LeBlanc of Marrero; two daughters, Marlene LeBlanc of Kaplan and Karen L. Valence and her husband, Randy Valence of Westwego; one sister, Anna Lou Thibodeaux of Lafayette; one brother, Norris LeBlanc of Holden; four grandchildren, Clint Penouilh, Angie Carroll, Paul LeBlanc, and Ashley Broussard; and five great grandchildren, Alexis, Tatum, Harley, Bennett, and Wyatt.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Laurent LeBlanc and the former Adia Hebert; one grandchild, Amanda LeBlanc; and one brother Paul George LeBlanc.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Avenue, on Monday, March 18, 2013 from 10:30 a.m until services with a rosary to be prayed at 12 p.m.
