Funeral services will be held Tuesday, March 26, 2013 at a 1:30 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church honoring the life of Vicy Guillory Carriere, 75, who died Sunday, March 24, 2013 at her residence. She will be laid to rest at Kaplan Cemetery.
She is survived by one son, Tommy Carriere of Kaplan; four daughters, Sheryl and her husband, Earl "Pudgy" Turnage of Kaplan, Cynthia "Ta" and her husband, Dexter LeBeouf of Kaplan, Melandie and her husband, Jared Stanley of Kirbyville, Texas, Karisa and her husband, Corey Seaux of Kaplan; one foster child, Mitch Mouton of Kaplan; one brother, James "Buddy" Guillory of Mamou; eleven grandchildren, Katie T. Greene, Dr. Braxton Turnage DC, Drew Turnage, Christy Stewart, Dustin LeBeouf, Joshua LeBeouf, Kameron Stanley, Kaden Stanley, Kross Stanley, Cody Seaux, and Clay Seaux; twelve great grandchildren, Lillian Greene, Taylor Hargrave, Shaé Stelly, Jon'Vea Stelly, Luke LeBeouf, Hayes LeBeouf, Kipp LeBeouf, Kiera Broussard, Gracie Seaux, Saige Seaux, Layton Breaux, and Madison Hardy; and two godchildren, Susie G. Langley and Herman Bertrand Jr.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Orris Carriere; parents, Yves Guillory and the former Elezida Fuselier; one sister, Beverly Bertrand; and one brother, Elvin Guillory.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Avenue, on Monday, March 25, 2013 from 11 a.m. until 10 p.m. with a rosary being prayed at 7 p.m.; Tuesday, March 26, from 8 a.m. until the procession departs for the church.
