Abbeville—Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, April 2, 2013 at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville honoring the life of Ronald Wayne Bodin, 63, who was called to heaven Friday, March 29, 2013. He will be laid to rest at St. Alphonsus Cemetery with Father Corey Campeaux officiating the services.

Ronald enjoyed working on the family farm and bar-be-cueing for family and friends. He was a 3rd degree Knights of Columbus Council 3470 and a 4th degree Knight, Knights of Columbus, Bishop Schexnayder Assembly 1882. He also served on the council for the Cajun Culture Association.

He is survived by his wife of 10 years, Nadine Breaux Bodin; father, Wilbert Bodin; sister, Jan Bodin; son, Clay Bodin; granddaughters, Trisha and Candice Bodin; grandson, Brannon Bodin; nephew, Tanner Guidry; three step-sons, Chad, Jude, and Josh Clark; uncle, Gilbert Bodin; and aunt, Nylias "Toot" Credeur.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Therese Bodin; and son, Troy Nicholas Bodin.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville, 209 S. St. Charles Street, on Monday, April 1, 2013 from 3:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. with a rosary to be prayed at 7:00 p.m.; Tuesday, April 2, 2013 from 8:00 a.m. until time of services.
