Willa Mae G. Lemaire

November 16, 1925 — March 15, 2008

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, March 17, 2008 at Vincent Funeral Home Chapel, honoring the life of Willa Mae G. Lemaire, 82, formerly of Kaplan, who died at 4:30 p.m.on Saturday March 15, 2008 at Belle Teche Nursing Home in New Iberia.
She will be laid to rest at Hebert Cemetery with Reverend Gregory Chauvin officiating the services.
She is survived by a daughter, Gloria L. Bouillion and her companion Chester Cormier of Delcambre; a son-in-law, Clyde Terrebonne of Delcambre; five grandchildren, Dawn T. Lerret and her husband Derrick, Neil Terrebonne and wife Stacey of Delcambre, Natalie T. Wise and husband Greg of West Monroe, Randy Bouillion and wife Nickie of Cow Island, Chad Bouillion and wife Angela of Erath; five great grandchildren, Jordy, Mindi and Garth Mitchell of Abbeville, Maci and Neili from Delcambre; one step great granddaughter, Markie Suire of Cow Island; a brother, Calvin Gaspard and wife Mary of Port Arthur, TX; and a sister; Mary Lee Simon of Abbeville.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest “T-Rouge” Lemaire; a daughter, Maudrey L. Terrebone; one son-in-law, whom she loved as a son, Alden J. Bouillion; parents, Rene Gaspard and the former Alite Hebert; and four brothers, Dalton, Wilton, Joseph and Preston Gaspard.
Pallbearers include Clyde Terrebonne, Neil Terrebonne, Randy Bouillion, Derrick Lerret, Chad Bouillion, Jordy and Garth Mitchell.
The family would like to express their thanks for the wonderful care she received from the staff of Belle Teche Nursing Home.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home, 209 South St. Charles, Abbeville, Monday March 17, 2008, from 9:00 a.m. until service time.
