Kaplan—Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, April 9, 2013 at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan honoring the life of Walter "Bee" Harrington, 54, who died Sunday, April 7, 2013 at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital. He will be laid to rest at Nunez Baptist Cemetery with Deacon David Vaughn officiating the services.

He is survived by two sons, Walter James Harrington Jr. and his girlfriend, Brittany Abshire of Nunez and Robbie Harrington and his wife, Heather of Morse; one daughter, Carol and her husband, Josh Menard of Nunez; one sister, Geraldine Harrington of Kaplan; three brothers, Charles, Timothy, and Lonnie Harrington, all of Kaplan; and eight grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Charles Harrrington and the former Ozita Suire; and one brother, Robert Harrington Jr.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Avenue, on Monday, April 8, 2013 from 9 a.m. until 10 p.m. with a rosary being prayed at 7 p.m.; Tuesday, April 9, from 8 a.m. until services.
