Rena Breaux Broussard

October 29, 1926 — April 10, 2013

Abbeville—Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 13, 2013 at an 11:00 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church honoring the life of Rena Breaux Broussard, 86, who died Wednesday, April 10, 2013 at Abbeville General Hospital.

She will be laid to rest at St. Paul Cemetery with Reverend William Blanda officiating the services.

She is survived by her husband, Lloybe J. Broussard; one daughter, Joanne B. Hebert and her husband, Donald G. Hebert; one brother, Bennett Breaux; three grandchildren, Kimberly K. Hebert, Cassie C. Broussard, and Brittany J. Hebert; and three great-grandchildren, Lindsay R. Hebert, Cohen P. Broussard, and William C. Broussard.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Norbert Breaux and the former Celic Henry; two brothers, B. Breaux and J.C. Breaux; and sister, Mazzie B. Lege.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville, 209 S. St. Charles Street, on Friday, April 12, 2013 from 9:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. with a rosary to be prayed at 7:00 p.m., Saturday, April 13, 2013 from 9:00 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. when the procession will depart for the church.
