Gueydan—Funeral services will be held Thursday, April 18, 2013 at a 2p.m. Mass of Christian Burial at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church honoring the life of Dalton Bonvillion, 78, who died Tuesday, April 16, 2013 at his residence. He will be laid to rest at Hanks Cemetery with Reverend Clint Trahan officiating the services.

He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Belle Guidry Bonvillion of Morse; and three generations of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Raney Bonvillion and Agnes Harrington; his sister, Hazel B. Rabalais; and his brother, John Bonvillion.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Gueydan, 311 Fourth Street, on Wednesday, April 17, 2013 from 9a.m. to 10p.m. with a rosary being prayed at 7p.m.; Thursday, April 18, 2013 from 8a.m. until services
