Abbeville—Funeral services will be held Monday, April 29, 2013 at a 10:00 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Therese of the Child Jesus Church honoring the life of Lavinia Leleux Breaux, 95, who died Saturday, April 27, 2013 at New Iberia Manor South Nursing Home.

She will be laid to rest at St. Paul Cemetery with Father Thomas Habetz officiating the services.

She is survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Theomine Leleux and the former Deskia Granger; husband, Aldes Breaux; two brothers, Sidney and Odey Leleux; six sisters, Isame Maitre, Alida Ransonet, Marie Vice, Olide Dubois, Gussie Meyers, and Gertie Edler; and two step-brothers, Whitney Leleux and Leonce Granger.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville, 209 S. St. Charles Street, on Sunday, April 28, 2013 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. with a rosary to be prayed at 6:30 p.m.; Monday, April 29, 2013 from 8:00 a.m until 9:45 a.m when the procession will depart for the church.
