Kaplan—Funeral services will be held Monday, May 6, 2013 at a 2 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Anne Catholic Church honoring the life of Paul D. Harrington, 72, who died Thursday, May 2, 2013 at Rapides Regional Medical Center. He will be laid to rest at St. Anne Cemetery with Reverend Keith Landry officiating the services.
He is survived by one son, Byron and his wife, Sabrina Harrington of Colorado; two daughters, Tara and her husband, Michael Devalcourt of Abbeville, Myra and her husband, Jerry Bunker II of Indian Bayou; eight grandchildren, Jonathan Harrington, Melanie Galloway, Kihra Bunker and Myles Bunker, Ren Cameron Harrington, Jade Victoria Harrington, Trinity Mai Harrington, Serinity Lei Harrington and one great-great grandchild, Joshua Galloway.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Geraldine Harrington; his parents, Waldo Harrington and the former Stella Nunez; two brothers, Waldo and Roland Harrington; one sister, Goldie Meaux; and two infant daughters, Leah and Adrea Harrington.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Avenue, on Sunday, May 5, 2013 from 11 a.m. until 10 p.m. with a rosary being prayed at 7 p.m.; Monday, May 6, from 8 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. when the procession will depart for the church.
