Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 27,
2008 at a 2:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Alphonsus Catholic Church honoring the life of Marie Neuvee Duhon Vincent, 93, who died March 26, 2008 at
Abbeville General Hospital.
She will be laid to rest at St. Alphonsus Cemetery with The Reverend Martin Leonard will be the celebrant of the funeral Mass and Con-celebrants will be
Reverend George Simon officiating the services.
Pallbearers will be Mark Simon, Dwayne Simon, Alfred Vincent, Kent Vincent, Jean Broussard and Chauncey Broussard.
She is survived by two, daughters, Sallie V. Simon and Una V. Broussard; three
brothers, Paul Duhon of Maurice, Clarence Duhon of Groves, TX and Carroll Duhon of Port Acres, TX; three sisters, Alga D. Landry of Maurice, Audrey D. Villien of Maurice and Jane D. Broussard of Maurice; one daughter-in-law, Linda Vincent; grandchildren, Dwayne Simon and his wife Ramona, Mark Simon and his
wife Dianne, Jeannette S.
Henry, Sandra Northington and
her husband Ralph, Sharon
Waites and her husband
Raymond, Kathy Broussard,
Denise Blankenship and her
husband Dennis, Whitney Jean
Broussard, Jr. and his wife,
Karen, Alfred Vincent and his
wife, Beverly and Kent Vincent;
great grandchildren, Christy
Simon Cart, Ryan Simon,
Mitchell Simon, Mandy Simon,
Michelle Baldock, Allie Henry, Janie Henry, Rodney Edwards,
Travis Northington, Heather
Miller, Taylor Northington,

Randee Vincent, Elise Vincent,
Adele Vincent, Courtney Vincent
and Katelin Vincent; and nine
great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death
by her husband, Alfred Vincent;
parents, Ode' Duhon and the
former Anna Baudoin; one son,
Kenneth Charles Vincent; one
sister, Lucille Duhon; and
sons-in-law, Whitney J.
Broussard and Rufus Simon.
The family requests that
visiting hours be observed at
Vincent Funeral Home, 209
South St. Charles, Abbeville,
Wednesday, March 26th from
2:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. with a
rosary to be prayed at 7:00 p.m.;
Thursday, March 27th from 8:00
a.m. until 1 :30 p.m. when the
procession will depart for the
church.
