Aline Jeanne Landry Leblanc

Abbeville—Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, May 13, 2013 at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville honoring the life of Aline Jeanne Landry LeBlanc, 92, who died Saturday, May 11, 2013 at Maison du Monde Living Center.

She will be laid to rest at St. Mary Magdalen Cemetery with Deacon Randy Hyde officiating the services.

Born on August 7, 1920 to Terville and Ida Bernard Landry in Bayou Tigre, Louisiana, Aline passed away Saturday, May 11, 2013. When Aline married Edward “T Neg” LeBlanc, she moved to Abbeville. Aline and Ed spent their lives working side-by-side and successfully building the renowned LeBlanc’s Bakery. They loved to travel and their infamous road trips took them to the 48 continental states of the USA as well as Canada and Mexico. Family memories were also made at their camps in Holly Beach. Until her death, she remained the lone survivor of the 1937 Class of Henry High School.

She is survived by her daughters, Beverly L. Michaud and her husband, Wallace, and Norma L. Levine and her husband, Pervis all of Abbeville; sister, Mae L. Hebert; brother, Ned G. Landry; four grandchildren, Rochelle M. Dugas, Randall J. Harrington, Sharla M. Broussard and Rebecca H. Foret; nine great grandchildren; and four great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward LeBlanc; parents, Terville Landry and the former Ida Bernard; and sister, Lucy L. Conner.

The family wishes to acknowledge their Aunt Mae Hebert for her daily visits.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville, 209 S. St. Charles Street, on Monday, May 13, 2013 from 8:00 a.m. until time of services with a rosary to be prayed at 12:00 p.m.
