Ardine D. Duhon

Abbeville—Funeral services will be held Tuesday, May 21, 2013 at a 10:00 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Alphonsus Roman Catholic Church honoring the life of Ardine D. Duhon, 73, who died Saturday, May 18, 2013 at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital.

She will be laid to rest at St. Alphonsus Cemetery with Reverend Joseph Breaux officiating the services.

Pallbearers will be Hunter Broussard, Taylor Broussard, Lance Broussard, Shelly Duhon, Derk Duhon and Lance Duhon.

Ardine loved spending time with her family and friends especially her children and grandchildren. She also enjoyed cooking for her loved ones.

She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Thomas Duhon; son, Lance Duhon and his wife Tammy; daughter, Alecia Broussard and her husband Lance; a sister, Ruby Duhon and her husband Eugene of New Iberia; five grandchildren, Hunter Broussard, Taylor Broussard, Bryce Duhon, Peyton Duhon and Ashton Duhon.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John Duhon and the former Eula Desormeaux; a sister Therese Duhon.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville, 209 S. St. Charles Street, on Monday, May 20, 2013 from 10:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. with a rosary to be prayed at 7:00 p.m.; the funeral home will reopen on Tuesday, May 21, 2013 from 7:30 a.m. until 9:45 a.m. when the procession will depart for the church.
