Daniel Jude Broussard

He will be laid to rest at St. Mary Magdalen Cemetery with Father Thomas Habetz officiating the services.
Danny was a huge LSU sports fan. His favorite activities included golfing, fishing, hunting and baseball. He had cherished memories of family vacations spent at the beach.
He is survived by his wife, Claire Gaspard Broussard; son Jerrod Broussard and his wife, Katelyn; two daughters, Karen Broussard and Kirsten Broussard; parents, Preston "P.J." and Barbara Broussard; brother, Kim Broussard and his wife, Angie; sister, Patricia Gaspard and her husband, James; three grandchildren, Alaina Hamlett, Russell Broussard and Trey Broussard; mother-in-law, Laura H. Gaspard; brother-in-law, Rusty Gaspard; sister-in-law, Anne Gaspard; godchildren, Brooke Hornsby, Michelle Haysley, Keifford Gayneaux, Jr. and Meagan Chauvin; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father-in-law, Russell Gaspard.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church, 300 Pere Megret Street, on Friday, May 24, 2013 from noon until time of services with a rosary to be prayed at 12:30 p.m.
