Funeral services will be held Thursday, April 03, 2008 at a 1 :00 p.m.. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Theresa Catholic Church honoring the life of Eunice Gerard Guidry, 95, who died April 01, 2008 at Vermilion Health Care. She will be laid to rest at St. Mary Magdalen Cemetery with Reverend Kenneth Mayne officiating the services. She was a member of the St. Theresa Ladies Altar Society. She is survived by one son, Joseph W. Guidry of Conroe, TX; one daughter, Doris G. Hebert of Abbeville; one sister, Lillian Faulk of Abbeville; seven grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren; and two great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Isidore Guidry; parents, Albert Gerard and the former Laurence Neveaux; one daughter, Gail Gaudet; one great grandson Barry Wayne LeBouef; two brothers, Kossuth Gerard and Francis Gerard and sons-in-law, Donald Hebert and Johnny Gaudet. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home, 209 South St. Charles, Abbeville, Wednesday, April 2nd from 10:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. with a rosary to be prayed at 7:00 p.m.; Thursday, April 3rd from 8:00 a.m. until time of services.
