Kaplan—Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, June 3, 2013 at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan honoring the life of Goldie C. Nunez, 79, who died Friday, May 31, 2013 at Abrom Kaplan Memorial Hospital. She will be laid to rest at Pecan Island Community Cemetery with Reverend John Vining officiating the services.

She is survived by one son; Karl Nunez and his wife, Stephanie of Pecan Island; three daughters, Deborah Mire of Baldwin, Ella Mae and her husband, Kent Little of Grand Chenier, Karla Nunez of Pecan Island; two sisters, Alverda Bourque of Pecan Island, Adley Miller of Pecan Island; nine grandchildren; and five great grandchildren .

She was preceded in death by her husband, Pershing Nunez; one son, Anthony "Pazoo" Nunez; one brother, Roland Copell; and one sister, Ethel Veazey.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Avenue, on Sunday, June 2, 2013 from 11 a.m. until 8 p.m.; Monday, June 3, from 8 a.m. until services.
