Kaplan—Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, June 13, 2013 at Kaplan Baptist Church honoring the life of Kenneth Lee Vincent, 59, who died Monday, June 10, 2013 at his home. He will be laid to rest at Nunez Baptist Cemetery with Rev. Billy Arnold officiating the services. Serving as pallbearers will be Theonise Vincent, Jr., Toby Vice, Daylin Major, Thomas Capps, Gerald Capps, David Capps, Stacey Foster, and Joshua Vincent.

He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Melva F. Vincent; two daughters, Misty and her husband, Daylin Major and Ashley and her husband, Toby Vice; his mother, Clorae Vincent; two grandchildren, Kelsie Vice and Devin Major; and two brothers, Floyd Vincent and Theonise Vincent, Jr., all of Kaplan.

He was preceded in death by his father, Theonise Vincent, Sr.; and his aunt, Naomi Hebert.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Avenue, on Wednesday, June 12, 2013 from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.; Thursday, June 13, 2013 from 8 a.m. until services.
