She will be laid to rest at St. Paul Cemetery with Rev. Pres Riley officiating the services.
She is survived by her husband of 73 years, John Ardeneaux; daughter, Wilda A. Hardin and her husband, Carl; son, Paul N. Ardeneaux and his wife, Denise; sister, Theresa Bledsoe; grandchildren, Ruth H. Potrier and her husband, Keith, Lisa H. Griffith and husband, Hallie, Amy H. Clark and her husband, Tommy, Janet H. Dahlen, Tony Hardin, Heath Veazey, Megan A. Chauvin and her husband, Brandon, Jared O. Ardeneaux, Hailey M. Ardeneaux, and Tim Hardin, his wife June and their children; great grandchildren, Alexis Paige Chauvin, Alayna Camille Chauvin, Karter Layne Ardeneaux, Matthew Griffith, Brett Griffith, Paige Patier Pieper, Seth Dahlen, Alex Clark, Ross Dahlen and Alexa Broussard; and great great grandchildren, Cameron Pieper, Luke Dahlen and Lily Dahlen.
She was preceded in death by her parents, O'Brien Toups and the former Nunez Stelly; daughter, Joyce Ardeneaux Veazey; grandson, Doyle Veazey; brothers, Wilton Toups, Wilvon Toups, Preston Toups and John Toups; and sisters, AnnaBelle Christopher and Mabel Benoit.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville, 209 S. St. Charles Street, on Thursday, June 13, 2013 from 4:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.; Friday, June 14, 2013 from 8:00 a.m. until time of services.
