Kaplan—Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, June 22, 2013 at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan honoring the life of Nelson Joseph Hebert Jr., 76, who died Thursday, June 20, 2013 at Abrom Kaplan Memorial Hospital. He will be laid to rest at Kaplan Cemetery with Reverend Ed Williamson officiating the services.

He is survived by one son, Darrell Hebert of Kaplan; stepchildren, Kenneth Breaux of Erath, Donald Breaux of Baytown, Texas, Ronald Breaux of Shreveport, Darlene Lawson of Sacul, Texas, and Beverly Fugate of Shreveport; two grandchildren, Justin and Amanda Hebert, both of Kaplan; one great grandchild, Hayden Picard of Kaplan; and numerous step-grandchildren and step-great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Adia Hebert; and parents, Nelson Hebert Sr. and the former Alma DeBlanc.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Avenue, on Friday, June 21, 2013 from 12:30 p.m. until 10 p.m.; Saturday, June 22, 2013 from 8 a.m. until services.
