Ringgold—Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 26, 2013 at Rockett Funeral Home in Ringgold, La. honoring the life of Joseph Lamar Griffith, 77, who died Tuesday, June 25, 2013 at Amelia Manor Nursing Home in Lafayette.

He will be laid to rest at Andrews Chapel Cemetery.

He is survived by his brother, Charley Vance Griffith of Ringgold; former wife, Linda M. Hebert of Abbeville; four daughters, Lynn Griffith LeBlanc and her husband, Larry of Abbeville, Monica M. Griffith of Abbeville, Faye Griffith Saltzman and her husband, David of Abbeville, and Lisa Griffith Fritz and her husband, James of Abbeville; twelve grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father, Wiley Washington Griffith and the former Zella Arnetia Culverhouse; brothers, Wiley, Jr., Huey and Leo Griffith; sisters, Thelma Griffith Sanders, Hazel Marie Griffith Johnson, Neva Eleanor Griffith McKnight and Willie Inez Griffith Anderson.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Rockett Funeral Home, 2438 Military Rd., on Wednesday, June 26, 2013 from 9:00 a.m. until time of services.
