Donna Marie Vaughn Garling

November 7, 1926 — April 10, 2008

Funeral services will be held Monday, April 14, 2008 at an 11:00 a.m. mass of Christian Burial at St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church in Abbeville, Louisiana honoring the life of Mrs. Donna Marie Vaughn Garling, 81 who died Thursday, April 10, 2008 at East Ridge Assisted Living in Abbeville.
Burial will follow in Ottawa Hills Cemetery in Toledo, Ohio.
Mrs. Garling is survived by her three sons, Douglas C. Garling and wife Harriet of Gahanna, OH, David R. Garling of Hudson, MI, and Ronald J. Garling and wife Milly of Mobile, AL; one daughter, Karen M. Rex and husband Tom of Myrtle Beach, SC; seven grandchildren; four great grandchildren; and a special cousin, Mickey Broussard and wife Judy of Abbeville.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Clifford J. Garling; father, Roy V. Vaughn, mother, Paula Broussard Vaughn and one sister, Jean White.
She was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution, Daughters of the Confederacy and the Abbeville Historical Society.
Visitation will be held at Vincent Funeral Home, 209 S. St. Charles St., Abbeville, LA, Sunday, April 13, 2008 from 2:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. with a rosary to be prayed at 7:00 p.m.. They will reopen Monday, April 14, 2008 from 8:00 a.m. until time of services.
