Kaplan—Funeral services will be held Friday, July 5, 2013 at a 3 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church honoring the life of Rita Duhon Hebert, 70, who died Saturday, June 29, 2013 at The Methodist Hospital. She will be laid to rest at Kaplan Cemetery with Reverend Kendal Faulk officiating the services. Serving as pallbearers will be Ricky Comeaux, Steven Peppel, Justin Goodwin, Malcolm Sonnier, Laxcy Vincent, and Les Bordelon; Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Matthew and Micah Sonnier.

She is survived by her son, Ricky Comeaux of Houston, TX; three daughters, Tammy and her husband Laxcy Vincent of Livingston, Sandra Dee Comeaux of New Iberia, and Mandy and her husband, Malcolm Sonnier of Covington; one brother, Joseph Daniel Duhon of Slidell; nine grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Joseph Hebert; and her parents, Freddie Duhon and the former Exodie Schexnider.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Avenue, on Thursday, July 4, 2013 from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. with a rosary being prayed at 6:30 p.m.; Friday, July 5, 2013 10 a.m. until services.
