Joyce Claire Connor Meaux

She will be laid to rest at St. Paul Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Timothy Gaspard, Vance Gaspard, Christopher Gaspard, Shawn Gaspard, Beaux Gaspard and Joey Gaspard.
Joyce was a very devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She was a caring and loving person who always found the good in everyone.
She is survived by her husband, Joseph N. Meaux; four sons, Timothy Gaspard, Vance Gaspard, Christopher Gaspard and David Meaux; two daughters, Cindy Meaux and Michelle Aldrich; brother, Sydney Wayne Connor; seventeen grandchildren; twenty-six great grandchildren; and one great great grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Sydney Joseph Connor and the former Lilly Primeaux; two sons, Charles Brady Gaspard and Joseph Roland Gaspard, Jr.; and daughter-in-law, Debra Farrington Gaspard.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville, 209 S. St. Charles Street, on Tuesday, July 9, 2013 from 9:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. with a rosary to be prayed at 7:00 p.m.; Wednesday, July 10, 2013 from 8:00 a.m. until time of services.
