Kaplan—Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, July 12, 2013 at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan honoring the life of Brian Keith Primeaux, 39, who died Monday, July 8, 2013. He will be laid to rest at Breaux Cemetery with Reverend Jonathan Janise officiating the services. Serving as pallbearers will be Kevin Howard, Johnathon Dartez, Shane Reaux, Alan LeMaire, Jason Goins, and Ronald Faulk. Honorary pallbearers will be Sean and Justin Little, Chad Hidalgo, and Aaron Finney.

He is survived by his fiancee, Jeannine T. Little of Abbeville; two stepchildren, Sean and Justin Little of Abbeville; his father, Alvin Primeaux of Erath; his stepfather, Ricky Abshire of Erath; four sisters, Shanon Primeaux of Erath, Desiree Dartez of Kaplan, Amy Finney of Erath, and Crystal Finney of Abbeville; two brothers, Johnathon Dartez and his wife, Michell of Abbeville and Kevin Howard of Erath; three aunts, Shirley Dartez, Margaret Broussard, and Cindy Dartez; and four uncles, Rene Dartez, Daniel Primeaux, Robert Primeaux, and Norman Primeaux.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Yvonne Dartez Primeaux; his stepfather, Carl Nunez; maternal grandparents, Emily Mathews Dartez and Murphy Dartez; paternal grandparents, Joseph Wildie Primeaux Sr. and Lydia Primeaux; uncles, Bradley Dartez and Douglas, Donald, and Joseph Wildie Primeaux Jr.; and an aunt, Doris Dartez Whitmore.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Avenue, on Thursday, July 11, 2013 from 11 a.m. until services on Friday, July 12, 2013. A rosary will be prayed at 7 p.m. Thursday.
