Funeral
services will be held Thursday,
April 17,2008 at a 11:00 a.m..
Mass of Christian Burial in St.
Theresa Catholic Church
honoring the life of Laurice
Bourque Guidry, 91, who died
April 15, 2008 at Eastridge
Skilled Nursing Facility.
She will be laid to rest at St.
Paul Cemetery with Reverend
Kenneth Mayne officiating the
services.
Toot later in life became an
artist she loved to draw and
paint.
She is survived by one son,
Larry Guidry of Abbeville; one
brother, Peterman Bourque of
Abbeville; three sisters, Gladys
Bienvene of Erath, Agnes
Foreman of Abbeville and Marie
Bourque of Texas; four
grandchildren; three great
grandchildren; two great great
grandchildren; and one great
great great grandson.
She was preceded in death
by her husband, Dennis Guidry;
parents, Philogene Bourque and
the former Cleomire Romero;
one daughter, Velta Faulk; four
brothers, Alton Bourque, Ivy
Bourque, Harris Bourque and
Mesmar Bourque; and two half
sisters, Eva Romero and Ella
Viator.
The family requests that
visiting hours be observed at
Vincent Funeral Home, 209
South St. Charles, Abbeville,
Wednesday, April 16th from 8:00
a.m. until 9:00 p.m. with a rosary
to be prayed at 7:00 p.m.;
Thursday, April 17th from 8:00
a.m. until time of services.
