ABBEVILLE— A private memorial will be held at a later date for Robert Becker, Jr., 86, who died Tuesday, July 16, 2013 at Abbeville General Hospital.

Robert was a veteran of the United States
Army who served our country during World
War II. In his spare time he enjoyed fishing
and crabbing.

He is survived by his companion of 26 years, Anna Parker; son, William Albert Becker and wife, Terry of Willis, TX; two daughters, Linda Becker Hilzendager and Charlotte Marie Becker; six grandchildren; and six great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Becker, Sr. and the former Mecille Luquette; former wife, Doris Marie Becker; and son, Robert James Becker; three brothers, Nolan Becker, Hollis Becker and Wilber Becker; and sister, Doris Frederick.
