Harry T. Gnau

July 4, 1932 — July 16, 2013

Kaplan—Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, July 18, 2013 at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan honoring the life of Harry Thomas Gnau, 81, who died Tuesday, July 16, 2013 at Abbeville General Hospital. He will be laid to rest at LeMaire Cemetery with Rev. Billy Arnold officiating the services.

He is survived by one son, Charles "Bubba" Gnau of Midland; four daughters, Sherie and her husband, Michael McCammant of Kaplan, Karen "Katie" Gnau Gautreaux of St. Amant, Angie and her husband, David Hollier of Maurice, and Racheal Gnau of Kaplan; five grandchildren, Mitchel Hollier of Baton Rouge, Casey Gnau of Kaplan, Kyle Hollier and his fiancee' Emily Cormier of Kaplan, Mali Gnau of Lake Charles, and Kourtney Gautreaux of Lafayette; one nephew, Harry C. Elzo and one great niece, Mary Lee Elzo, both of Broken Arrow, OK.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Lee LeMaire Gnau; his parents, Harry M. Gnau and the former Bernice Yates; and his sister, Peggy Elzo.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Avenue, on Wednesday, July 17, 2013 from 3 p.m. until 9 p.m. with a rosary being prayed at 7 p.m.; Thursday, July 18, 2013 from 8 a.m. until services.
