Kaplan—Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 23, 2013 at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan honoring the life of Darrell J. Hebert , 51, who died Friday, July 19, 2013 at his residence. He will be laid to rest at Kaplan Cemetery with Brother Curtis Gibson officiating the services.

He is survived by his son, Justin Hebert of Kaplan; one daughter, Amanda Hebert and her boyfriend, Randy Picard of Kaplan; two sisters, Darlene and her husband, Benny Lawson of Nacogdoches, TX, and Beverly Fugate of Shreveport; four brothers, Donald Breaux and his wife, Tracie of Baytown, TX, Kenneth Breaux and his wife, Wanda of Erath, Ronald Breaux of Shreveport, and Jerry Abshire and his wife, Pam of Kaplan; one grandchild, Hayden Picard of Kaplan.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Nelson Hebert Jr. and the former Adia Abshire; his paternal grandparents; and his maternal grandparents.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Avenue, on Monday, July 22, 2013 from 3 p.m. until 10 p.m. with a rosary being prayed at 7 p.m.; Tuesday, July 23, 2013 from 8 a.m. until services.
