Merina Dubois Simon

Kaplan—Funeral services will be held Thursday, July 25, 2013 at a 2 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church honoring the life of Merina Simon, 82, who died Sunday, July 21, 2013 at her residence. She will be laid to rest at Kaplan Cemetery with Reverend Keith Landry officiating the services.

She is survived by her husband of 66 years, Roy Simon of Kaplan; two sons, Karlon Simon and his wife, Carolyn of Pearland, TX and Mark Simon of Kaplan; three grandchildren, Stoney, Anthony and Ryan Simon, all of Kaplan; two great grandchildren, Aiden and Emily Simon of Kaplan.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter Dubois and the former Edmay Romero; her brother, and her sister.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Avenue, on Wednesday, July 24, 2013 from 2 p.m. until 9 p.m. with a rosary being prayed at 7 p.m.; Thursday, July 25, 2013 from 8 a.m. until services.
