Inez Guidry Saltzman

She is survived by three daughters, Evelyn S. Guidry of Kaplan, Ethel S. Pyles and husband, Bill of Punxsutawney, PA, and Brenda S. Wade of Groves, TX; two sons, Evans (E.J.) Saltzman and wife, Nell of Kaplan, and Freddie Saltzman Jr., also of Kaplan; ten grandchildren, Todd Guidry and wife, Paulette, Tammy G. Hollier and husband, Larry, Chad Saltzman and wife, Carolyn, Lynelle Saltzman and life partner, Cory Coon, Christina Saltzman, Amanda Saltzman Ragas and husband, Cedric, Sharron Pyles Skinner and husband, Ron, William D. Pyles, April Pyles Jacklett and husband, Chad, and Katie Saltzman Guidry and husband, Evan; and seventeen great grandchildren, Blake Guidry, Jacob Guidry, Alison Guidry, Trevor Hollier, Matthew Marvin, Andrew Saltzman, Amy Meyers, Kerri Meyers, Toiya Ragas, Cedlyn Ragas, Kristen Ragas, Cadence Ourso, Nathaniel Pyles, Morgan Skinner, Ian Jacklett, Levi Jacklett, and Van Guidry.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Elizie Guidry and the former Euphimine Dartez; two sisters, Margaret G. Broussard and Ella Guidry; three brothers, Jules, Mayeuse, and Roy Guidry; and one grandson, Bobby Charles Guidry.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Avenue, on Friday, July 26, 2013 from 6 p.m. until services on Monday, July 29, 2013. A rosary will be prayed Sunday at 7 p.m.
