Kaplan—Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, July 29, 2013 at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan honoring the life of Peter Paul Trahan, 71, who died Friday, July 26, 2013 at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital. He will be laid to rest at Kaplan Cemetery with Reverend Cedric Sonnier officiating the services.

He is survived by his wife of fifty-three years, Faye Trahan of Meaux; two daughters, Susan and her husband David Trahan of Lafayette, Fayetta and her husband Ernie Dupre of Lafayette; one sister, Shirley Landry of Kaplan; one brother, John Edward Trahan of Abbeville; two grandchildren, Matthew Trahan and Seth Dupre both of Lafayette.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Elus Trahan and the former Sidmey Touchet; and two sisters, Audrey Adams and Jenny Broussard.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Avenue, on Sunday, July 28, 2013 from 2 p.m. until 9 p.m. with a rosary being prayed at 6 p.m.; Monday, July 29, from 8 a.m. until services.
