He is survived by his special friend, Joyce Nunez; sons, Wyndal Stelly and his wife, Judy, Blaine Stelly and his wife, Susan, and Shelly Stelly; daughters, Charlene and her husband, Chris Toups, Mona and her husband, Keith Bernard, and Dena and her husband, Keith Gaspard; daughters-in-law, Susan L. Stelly and Laura L. Stelly, all of Forked Island; 22 grandchildren; 35 great grandchildren; and 1 great-great grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Della Rung Stelly; his second wife, Eula Gaspard Stelly; his parents, Lodias Stelly Jr. and the former Lelia Hebert; two sons, Randal and Lesley Stelly; two brothers, Harvey and Carlton Stelly; and one sister, Mary Lynn Lege.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Avenue, on Tuesday, August 6, 2013 from 3 p.m. until 10 p.m. with a rosary to be prayed at 7 p.m.; Wednesday, August 7, 2013, from 8 a.m. until services.
