Lillie R. Suire

Kaplan—Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Friday, August 16, 2013 at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan honoring the life of Lillie Suire, 98, who died Wednesday, August 14, 2013 at Kaplan Healthcare Center. She will be laid to rest at Kaplan Cemetery with Reverend Cedric Sonnier officiating the services.

She is survived by her daughter, Beverly Roche of Kaplan; two brothers, Eddie Richard and Vernon Richard both of Gueydan; one sister, Eurna LaPointe of Kaplan; four grandchildren, Roderick J. Roche, Christene Abshire, Damian B. Roche, and Jill Roche, all of Kaplan; eight great grandchildren, Hyacinth Roche, Garrett Roche, John Menard, Kasey Roche, Seth Abshire, Matthew Menard, Macade Roche, and Raissa Menard; and eleven great-great grandchildren, Cole Uriegas, Cullen Richard, Wyatt Roche, Cayden Menard, Londyn Menard, Chyanne Roche, Maliek Menard, Maleah Menard, Ryker Abshire, Dastan Roche, and Maverick Menard.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ovey Suire; her parents, Duplisses Richard and the former Angelle Schexnider; one brother, Amos Richard; six sisters, Aries Trahan, Azema Chauvin, Gladys Suire, Estelle Richard, Lorraine Clotiaux, and Una Simon; and her great granddaughter, Aleah Abshire.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Avenue, on Friday, August 16, 2013 from 9 a.m. until services with a rosary being prayed at 10:30 a.m.
