Kaplan—Funeral services will be held Monday, August 19, 2013 at an 11 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church honoring the life of Odelia Touchet LeBouef, 59, who died Saturday, August 17, 2013 at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital. She will be laid to rest at Kaplan Cemetery with Reverend Cedric Sonnier officiating the services.
Tobby was a mom to three, but a mother to many, especially in her 22 years of providing childcare. Tobby will always be remembered as a kind-hearted, nurturing, and generous person who always put others before herself. She was a woman that truly led by example and will be missed by all.
She is survived by two sons, Roddy LeBouef and his fiancée, Deyshia Hargrave of Cow Island and Andy LeBouef and his wife, Kayla of Metairie; one daughter, Amy L. and her husband, Brian Fleming of Metairie; one grandson, Connor Fleming; her father, Paul Cullen Touchet Sr. of Kaplan; two brothers, Cullen Touchet Jr. and his wife, Harriet and L.C. Touchet and his wife, Roberta, all of Kaplan; her mother-in-law, Vernice B. LeBouef of Kaplan; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Rodney LeBouef; her mother, Agnes A. Touchet; and her father-in-law, Andrus "Mulate" LeBouef.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Avenue, on Sunday, August 18, 2013 from 11 a.m. until 9 p.m. with a rosary to be prayed at 6 p.m.; Monday, August 19, 2013, from 8 a.m. until the procession departs for the church.
