Beatrice Toups Thibodeaux

Abbeville—Funeral services will be held Friday, August 23, 2013 at a 10:00 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Therese of the Child Jesus Church honoring the life of Beatrice Toups Thibodeaux, 84, who died Tuesday, August 20, 2013 at her residence.
She will be laid to rest at St. Paul Cemetery with Reverend Kenneth Mayne officiating the services.
She is survived by her children, Roderick John Thibodeaux and his wife, Aline O'quain of Abbeville, Jourdan Dan Thibodeaux of Abbeville, Maxine T. Scalisi and her husband, Dominic of Abbeville, Keith Gerard Thibodeaux of Abbeville, and Robin T. Brassette of Abbeville; sister, Imae Ann Toups Primeaux of Abbeville; eighteen grandchildren; and fifteen great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by husband, Luke "Boy" Thibodeaux; parents, Louis Toups and the former Evelia Hebert; siblings, Robley Louis Toups, Sr., Eustis P. Toups, Ruby Toups Hebert, and Rena Louise Toups Hebert; and nephews, Russell Toups and Harold Hebert.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville, 209 S. St. Charles Street, on Thursday, August 22, 2013 from 9:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. with a rosary to be prayed 7:00 p.m.; Friday, August 23, 2013 from 8:00 a.m. until 9:45 a.m. when the procession will depart for the church.
