Nilta was an Abbeville Tour Guide and especially enjoyed conducting tours of the church rectory in her native language, French. Her interests included crocheting, sewing, LSU sports, and traveling with her family.

The family would like to thank the staff of Eastridge Assisted Living Center for providing a warm and loving atmosphere to their mother for the last eight years, and Janice Macomber for generously opening her home and providing food and hospitality to the family and friends.
