She will be laid to rest at Bancker Cemetery with Deacon Tim Marcantel officiating the services. Pallbearers will be Jacob Collingwood, Matthew Collingwood, Corie Fickes, Ernest Landry, Jr., Danny Sparks and Chandler Landry.
Paulette was a beloved wife, mother and mimi. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, cooking, fishing and gardening. In her spare time she enjoyed playing Bingo and going to the casino. She leaves behind her dog, Precious.
She is survived by her four daughters, Dayna K. Holden and her husband, David of Crowley, Twyla K. Broussard and her husband, Bryan of Ocala, Florida, Renee K. Collingwood of Pierre Part, and Tessa A. Flory and her husband, Mark of Kaplan; grandchildren, David Holden, Derrick Holden, Devin Holden, Chloe' Hanson, Andre' Broussard, Corie Fickes, Jacob Collingwood, Matthew Collingwood, Sarah Collingwood and Brock Flory; great grandchildren, Hailey Holden, Taylor Holden, Carissa Holden and Zane Collingwood; sister-in-law, Beverly Labit; brothers and sisters-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Landry, Sr. and Mr. and Mrs. Danny Sparks.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harris J. Albarado, Sr.; son, Harris J. Albarado, Jr.; parents, Theo Labit and the former Alice Schexnayder; brothers, Roland Labit and Gerald Labit; and sister, Frankie Lacombe.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville, 209 S. St. Charles Street, on Sunday, September 1, 2013 from 3:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. with a rosary to be prayed at 7:00 p.m.; September 2, 2013, from 10:00 a.m. until time of services.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to their mothers sitters, Candance Bossley, Johnette Bellard, Rachael and Dee for their kindness, compassion and gentle care given to her at her time of need.
