Gueydan—Funeral services will be held Tuesday, September 3, 2013 at a 2 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Peter the Apostle Roman Catholic Church honoring the life of Diana Guidry Hebert, 87, who died Saturday, August 31, 2013 at American Legion Hospital. She will be laid to rest at Gueydan Cemetery with Reverend Jason Vidrine officiating the services.

She is survived by two sons, Mark Hebert and his wife, Sherri of Gueydan, John Hebert of Katy, Texas; five daughters, Andrea and her husband, Tracy Broussard of Sugar Land, Texas, Shelley Nunez of Abbeville, June H. Broussard and her companion, Ronnie Canoe of Dry Prong, LA, Lori and her husband, Mike Leger of Kinder, Carla and her husband, Hal Roemer of Hemphill, Texas; two sisters, Jane Foegelle of Yorktown, Texas, Jeanette LeJeune of Gueydan; two brothers, Ted Guidry and his wife, Hazel of Gueydan, Ronald Guidry and his wife, Mae of Morse; fifteen grandchildren; and twenty-one great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Andrus Hebert; her son, Gordon Hebert; her parents, Lionel Anthony Guidry Sr. and the former Elda Richard; her grandson, Bobby Dale Hebert Dowdy; her siblings, L.A. Guidry Jr., Emma Broussard and Roy Guidry.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Gueydan, 311 Fourth Street, on Monday, September 2, 2013 from 11 a.m. until 10 p.m. with a rosary being prayed at 7 p.m.; Tuesday, September 3, from 8 a.m. until 1:45 p.m. when the procession will depart for the church.
