Shirley Viator Gautreau

October 6, 1935 — April 30, 2008

ABBEVILLE- Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 03, 2008 at a 9:00 a.m.. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Alphonsus Catholic Church honoring the life of Shirley Viator Gautreau, 72, who died April 30, 2008 at a Lafayette hospital.
She will be laid to rest at Woodlawn Cemetery with Reverend Joseph Breaux officiating the services. Pallbearers will be Clyde Gautreau, Bill Gautreau, Tony Gautreau, Joshua Gautreau, Kory Akers and Ethan Gautreau. Honorary pallbearers will be Nolan Blanchard, Justin Gautreau, Brian Breaux and Tyler Gautreau.
She is survived by three sons, Clyde L.Gautreau of Houston, William J. Gautreau of Baton Rouge and Tony J. Gautreau of Lafayette; two daughters, Debra A. Blanchard of Dallas and Rachel M. Breaux of Maurice; one brother, Ledia Viator, Jr. of Abbeville; one sister, Betty V. Simon of Lafayette; nine grandchildren, Jamie rv1. Gautreau, Michelle Gautreau, Josh P. Gautreau, Elise No Gautreau, Ethan V. Gautreau, Justin T. Gautreau, Tyler J. Gautreau, Jennifer A. Young and Kory J. Aker;. and one great grandchild, Jade V. Domingue.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ledia Viator and the former Elia Suire; and two brothers, L.J. Viator and Lloyd Viator.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home, 209 South St. Charles, Abbeville, Friday, May 2nd from 10:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. with a rosary to be prayed at 7:00 p.m.; Saturday, May 3rd from 7:30 a.m. until time of services.
