ABBEVILLE- Funeral
services will be held Monday, May 05, 2008 at a 9:30 a.m.. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church honoring the life of Dalton Joseph Bergeron, 91, who died May 01, 2008 at Eastridge Assisted Living.
He will be laid to rest at St. Paul Cemetery with Reverend Greg Chauvin officiating the services.
He is survived by four children, Deanna B. Richard and her husband Patrick of Manhattan, KS, D.J. Bergeron, Jr. and his wife Kim of Lafayette, Godfrey Bergeron and his wife Lydia of Lafayette and Phyllis Guidry and her husband Mark of Abbeville; seven grandchildren, Michael and Deb Richard, La Rae B. Robbins, Dwayne Bergeron, Michael Bergeron, Lauren G. Aicklen, Richard Guidry; and seven great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Pearl Breaux Bergeron; parents, Ernest Bergeron and the former Ursule Meaux; and one brother, J.C. Bergeron.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home, 209 South St. Charles, Abbeville, Sunday, May 4th from 1 :00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. with a rosary to be prayed at 7:00 p.m.; Monday, May 5th from 8:00 a.m. until time of services.
The family wishes to thank Eastridge Assisted Living and Hospice of Acadiana for the excellent services they provided.
