Funeral services will be held Thursday, May 08, 2008 at a 2:00 p.m.. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Theresa Catholic Church honoring the life of Patrick Wayne Romero, 54, who died May 06, 2008 at his residence. He will be laid to rest at Landry Cemetery with Reverend Kenneth Mayne officiating the services. Pallbearers will be Charlene Guidry, Dane Guidry, Dewey Ware, Joshua Hebert, Leroy Maturin and Roddy Meaux. He is survived by his wife, Rhonda Renee Palombo Romero of Kaplan; three sons, Marcus Romero, Marshall Romero and Roddy Meaux of Kaplan; one step son, Joshua Hebert; three daughters, Patches Meaux Bell of Kaplan, Tori Meaux of Kaplan and Brandi Gaspard; two step daughters, Tasha Palombo and Jennie Maturin both of Kaplan; three sisters, Glenda Ware of Abbeville, Patricia Romero of Abbeville and Charlene Guidry of Carencro; and eleven grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Willis Joseph Romero and the former Hazel Renee Breaux. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home, 209 South St. Charles, Abbeville, Wednesday, May 7th from 8:00 a.m. and will remain open until service time on Thursday, May 8th.
