Kaplan—Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, September 9, 2013 at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan honoring the life of Eula Mae Sonnier, 83, who died Friday, September 6, 2013 at Kaplan Healthcare Center. She will be laid to rest at Kaplan Cemetery with Reverend Johnathan Janise officiating the services.

She is survived by her son, Rogers Wayne Sonnier and his wife, Flora of Dallas, TX; one sister, Mrs. Claude (Cecelia) Labbe of Duson; one daughter-in-law, Karen Sonnier of Kaplan; five grandchildren, Sophie S. Tabak, Arduse, Roz, Nick and Alis Sonnier; and five great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Hayward J. Sonnier; her parents, Gaston Leger and the former Azalie Abshire; one son, Randal James Sonnier; and one brother, Howard Leger.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Avenue, on Sunday, September 8, 2013 from 3 p.m. until 9 p.m. with a rosary being prayed at 7 p.m.; Monday, September 9, 2013 from 8 a.m. until services.
